FAQ

What time is it best to arrive at the church?

I will be arriving at 1.30pm, the bridal party will arrive from 1pm, so choose your time between then. If you fancy arriving early and going for a quick drink, then there are many good pubs around, you may find Josh in Weatherspoons. Josh once arrived at a wedding minutes before the bride walked in, so as long as you're inside before the bridal party, we don't mind.

Where can I park?

At the church there is a good, and cheap carpark nearby called Zebedee's Yard (HU1 2JX). You can park for up to 3 hours and it has CCTV. It costs £1 per hour.

At Dunedin, directions will be displayed to show where to park so there is no need to worry about it.

What should I wear?

You are attending the wedding of the man who wears shorts in snow, dress in wedding attire but ensure you are comfortable, you will probably be dancing a lot later. I definately will be. If you are staying at Dunedin and wish to change for the party you are welcome to as well.

I don't know what to get you as a present?

Don't be afraid to ask us, but probably best to ask me rather than Josh, otherwise we'd end up with a lot of Lego! If you know the Head Bridesmaid (Jemima) you can contact her instead, she is in charge of the list and can advise you in more detail. You could also check out our Amazon Wedding list Amazon Link. This was suggested by one of our friends as an easy way for people to see what sort of things we'd fancy.

I don't attend church very often, what do I do in the service?

Don't stress out about it would be a great start, and make sure you sing; all the hymns we have chosen are very well known. You don't want to be able to hear just my singing voice. Best advice would be to follow other people, the Matron of Honour would be a good choice.
